Meet the Founder and the Provider

Dr. Ekta Rathee, DNP, PMHNP-C, FNP-C, is the Founder and Psychiatric Provider at ZOYA Wholebeing Psychiatry, where she provides thoughtful, trauma-informed care grounded in a whole-person approach. Her work in mental health care has been shaped by both personal insight and clinical experience, leading to a deep appreciation for how closely emotional wellbeing is connected to every aspect of life. With more than two decades of clinical experience, she clearly recognized the need for a more thoughtful and comprehensive approach to psychiatric care. The care that goes beyond surface-level symptoms and is grounded in wholistic approach with trauma-informed Lense when needed and a deeper understanding of everyone’s unique story.

In her practice, Dr. Rathee takes a careful and individualized approach to care, integrating comprehensive evaluation, personalized medication management when appropriate, and attention to the biological, lifestyle, and stress-related factors that influence mental health. Her focus is on providing clear, thoughtful treatment that supports greater stability, a more regulated mind, and a deeper understanding of each patient’s unique experience.

  • Currently we practice only in FL, IN, KY, we are gradually expanding care in other states as well.

  • Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Trauma, PTSD, Nightmares, Sleep Disturbances, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Phobias, Emotional Overwhelm, and Burnout.

  • There are three types of services:

    1. Private Pay Service ($425 Initial Visit and $225 Follow up Visit)- it’s the most comprehensive service that includes an extensive wholistic approach, which is typically not covered by insurance companies. Hence, you pay out of pocket. In some cases, we may provide an itemized superbill for potential partial reimbursement from your insurance depending on your benefit plan.

    2. Insurance- Based Service- we bill to your insurance.  You are responsible for applicable copays, deductibles, and non-covered services only. This service is structured per insurance guidelines that typically do not cover the most comprehensive wholistic level of care. However, to uphold ZOYA's mission, it includes the traditional psychiatric care with a basic wholistic lense.

    3. ZOYA Membership-Designed for individuals seeking more continuous, personalized psychiatric support throughout their healing and wellness journey. Membership may be beneficial for clients who would benefit from more frequent follow-ups and ongoing support between appointments. Available for select clients based on clinical appropriateness and mutual fit. The members pay a consistent monthly fee of $375, which includes:

      • Access to ZOYA Structured Foundational Wholistic Care Programs (2, 4, or 6 months), tailored to your unique needs and goals.

      • One monthly telehealth visit with your provider

      • Secure text/phone support between visits

      • Response within 24-48 business hours

      • Priority scheduling when available.

  • Insurance-based appointments may be available in select cases. ZOYA Wholebeing Psychiatry primarily operates as a private-pay practice to allow for more individualized and comprehensive care.
